Back touring!

I’m heading back out on the road to inspire young people, teachers and librarians. Laugh while learning!

I’ve been away a mere 33.3% of time since comedian Peter Kay last performed stand-up. Okay, I’ve starred in 100% fewer hit TV shows. I have, however, acquired the quirky model of car featured in Peter Kay’s Car Share. (Yes, it was red (which mine isn’t), but can you remember the make and model?)

It (hopefully) wouldn’t happen in the NHS!

One thing I’ve done in the last 3 years is become a non-executive member of an NHS board. Rest assured, it was NOT because of any medical knowledge accidentally evidenced via Lee and the Consul Mutants. And, while all NHS boards face challenges, I can safely say that none is likely to face a scenario like that in the hospital in which Lee becomes a patient.

How (NOT) to do business

I wrote Lee Goes For Gold as a ‘how to’ – or more accurately a ‘how NOT to’ – novel about starting and running an enterprise. With Business a key part of the curriculum , I enjoy combining my commercial and writing experience to explore business via fiction. Let me know if that’s an aspect you’d be interested in me including during a visit.

I’m off to pack…
